As an agency totally dedicated to the telecoms and wireless industry, Sonus PR understands what is required to create a successful launch of your device.
Sonus PR understands the different audiences that you need to target, consumers or enterprises, operators or the retail trade and the power of the blog ‘rumour mill’ when it comes to launching a new device.
Sonus PR will put our expertise in this sector to good use to successfully launch your device to the market and keep its profile high.
The Challenge: AT&T Wireless (now Cingular), in conjunction with IXI Mobile and other partners had developed a cellular messaging device, the Ogo, designed to appeal to the mobile youth market. Sonus PR’s challenge was to highlight the role of IXI Mobile, whilst working within the strict guidelines of the carrier.
The Solution: Sonus PR focused on pre-briefing the world’s most influential global journalists just ahead of the launch. Sonus PR placed the launch of the Ogo, the first device of its kind, into a wider context for the industry and highlighted IXI Mobile’s importance in its development.
The Result: Global coverage for the Ogo was created in tier one publications such as Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune, The Register and Fierce Wireless. IXI Mobile was mentioned in well over 50 per cent of the coverage worldwide, whilst other partners barely received a mention.
